Iraq 2003. Life-long friends Shane Gulliver and Mark "Treacle" Tate are on their first tour of duty in the British Army.
Facing the dangerous reality of soldiering, these inexperienced young men play a part in a terrible act. When they return home, their shocking trophy photos provoke extreme reactions from their family and the public and they are forced to re-examine their actions, with profound consequences.
